Stay
A 15th‑century townhouse. Reborn.
Thirteen rooms and suites, each with a tangible link to the house’s history.
The listed Villa Florhof is being transformed into a boutique hotel. Reopening in 2026, the property in Zurich’s Old Town will offer thirteen rooms and suites that blend original historic elements with contemporary Lalique design.
The commitment to excellence is evident in every detail: high-quality materials, carefully harmonized finishes, and a high level of comfort. Completing the ensemble is the historic vaulted wine cellar, which visibly carries the building’s history forward.

Culinary polish meets urban ease
The Cuisine of Villa Florhof
On the ground floor of Villa Florhof is the Bar & Brasserie; on the first floor, the house’s Signature Restaurant, opening later in the year. Both concepts share a unified culinary signature shaped by Christian Jürgens.
The Brasserie is dedicated to comfort food.
To favourite dishes that feel familiar, evoke a sense of home and are known, loved and chosen time and again. Dishes that awaken memories and create a sense of ease and well-being.
The kitchen draws consciously on classic Swiss dishes and high-quality Swiss products. At the same time, it remains open to the world, taking inspiration from the classics of neighbouring countries and complemented by influences from international cuisines.

Career
Shape atmosphere, culture, and standards
The Opening Crew sets the tone from the very beginning. From the pre-opening phase through and beyond the opening, you work closely with management to shape processes, standards, and a shared ethos.
At Villa Florhof, everything revolves around contemporary hospitality—characterised by responsibility, precision, and personal presence.

Cellar
A cellar curated by knowledge and care
Located beneath the villa, the historic vaulted cellar forms a central element of the house. With an exceptional breadth of origins and vintages, it ranks among the region’s most versatile wine collections.
As co-owner of Villa Florhof, Silvio Denz has been instrumental in shaping the wine cellar’s direction. The house’s affinity with wine is also reflected in the estates of Vignobles Silvio Denz, synonymous with provenance, terroir, and artisanal precision.
Curatorial responsibility on site rests with sommelier Julien Beltzung, in professional dialogue with Romain Iltis, Chef Sommelier of Villa René Lalique and Directeur des Vins at Lalique Hospitality.
